Not really sure what this is all about but it looks interesting. Maybe a kind of future-minded think tank slash social network? Definitely a good job done on promoting the website/community, or at least sparking interest. You can apply for access at their website.

Tons more, and far better quality video on the website (which is a little tricky to navigate — click anywhere on the page once the site is loaded, then use the faded bar at the bottom to browse through the videos).

We love Apple. Apple knows more about “clean” design than anybody, right? So why do Macs, iPods, iBooks and the rest of their product range contain hazardous substances that other companies have agreed to abandon? A cutting edge company shouldn’t be cutting lives short by exposing children in China and India to dangerous chemicals. That’s why we Apple fans need to demand a new, cool product: a greener Apple.

In a recent independent study, various laptops were tested for their levels of toxic chemical contamination and among them Apple’s MacBook Pro scored as one of the worst. The “Green My Apple” campaign is in response to this, and although targeted at Apple will no doubt shed light onto the greater issue of these chemicals being used in abundance regardless of manufacturer. With their recent trend-setting track record, if Apple can be moved to change others will be far more likely to follow suit. Visit the site for more info, video and promotional materials.
