This is a pleasant change from what we usually get to see of Japanese humor: insane television shows and funny videos of people falling over. Then again, that selection may tell more about ourselves instead of the other way round.
I do wonder about the psychological processes going on here. We have a great capacity for compassion, but to actually feel sorry for a slice of cake? That’s rather remarkable and these chaps played on that quite nicely. What’s even more remarkable is that the effect, for me at least, was less strong with the camera and the gun, objects not made of organic materials, as opposed to the rest. Or maybe I am taking things too far here?
Probably not.
Many of the Rahmens work is with a film group called Teevee graphics
