Paul Laffoley

Laffoley’s paintings depict his vision of reality with geometric precision: theories of time, space, the universe, the soul, etc. Laffoley is partially autistic, living and working alone in his windowless studio. Seven of his roughly 800 paintings are currently on display at the Kent Gallery in NYC.

A roughly half-inch piece of metal was found in his occipital lobe near the pineal gland during a routine CAT scan in 1992 which he believes to be of extraterrestrial origin. His ideas about the future, global warming, terra-forming, architecture, planetary colonization, time travel and other far-reaching topics are, if not alien, at least unique.
