nerd alert: Hawking, Feynman, Einstein … Universe

Beyond the Horizon is a new IMAX film in progress about “cosmology and the meaning of existence”. Seemingly an accessible film version of Hawking’s theories, in the vein of A Brief History of Time. Characters include Einstein, Feynman and Hawking himself. The computer animation for this should be mind-bending:

(…) the complex graphics being demanded by Hawking need so much computing power that he has asked America’s National Center for Supercomputing Applications to help to create the simulations.

Leonard Mlodinow is writing the screenplay. No release date as of yet.
