At 2,222 feet the World Centre of Vedic Learning will be not only the tallest building in the world, but the largest structure period. To be built in the exact center of India, it will have 160 floors and 20 million square feet of space.

THis is great! I hope it is built soon. About time India gets up in the world’s top buildings.
The people have not enough to eat and they go for the religeous skyscrapers?
That’s simply a smart move. With the likes of Burj Dubais, Al Burjs in the pipeline, Mother India should get her shares of glory too. That too at the center of this great piece of land. This pulls more tourists too.
having said all these, I would take this news with “a pinch of salt”, for, on plans and ideas (on paper) we Indians are second to none. Implimentation, for some reason, seems to be a far cry ! ! !
If anyone can throw some more light on the purpose of this giant structure, that can be of good help for guys like me who always want to see the tricolours flying high.

Nothing against that… it’s good to spread the vedic messages to the rest of the world… I don’t see any commercial purposes, since the location suggest that.
Whatever it may be, any move towards dragging the world attention towards our land will be welcomed with both hands.

May be.. its just a matter of time before we get see an American or an Emirati or a Malaysian packs the travel kit just to witness the “WORLD’S BIGGEST BUILDING”
