“Inspired by the television reality show, Czech public radio and television broadcasters have announced that on November 7, they will begin airing a new show that will follow the lives of four gorillas living together at the Prague Zoo.
The show, to be called Odhaleni (Discovery), will see the primates — one male, two females and one baby — battle it out for a grand prize of 12 melons, a delicacy for gorillas.
‘What the gorillas do is up to them,’ said Prague Zoo gorilla trainer Marek Zdansky.”

The Gorillaz performed live last night at the European MTV Music Awards, in the form of holograms depicting their recently acquired cartoon likenesses.
A mandolin virtuoso and songwriter since the age of 5 — at 12 he won the prestigious national mandolin championship in Winfield, Kansas. That year he began recording his first solo album, with songs mostly of his own composition, which was later named the #1 bluegrass album of 1994 by The Chicago Tribue. Today, alongside his solo work, he is a founding member of the Grammy award-winning nugrass band Nickel Creek, which is mentored and produced by one of the most well-known names in Nashville, Alison Krauss.
