Denali

Maura Davis’s voice is killer — here’s one of my favorites, and a bit more for the curious:

Denali (2000-2004) will soon be releasing a posthumous DVD titled Pinnacle:

The 85 minute DVD includes a 44 minute performance as well as videos for “Hold your Breath” and “Relief,” alternate angles for “The Instinct” and “Normal Days,” over 150 pictures of the band members, two home movies shot by guitarist Cameron DiNunzio and a hidden Easter egg. According to the label, the project took over 600 man hours to complete and was edited over a period of 6 months by Rex Teese, known best for his work as an editor on “Hannibal,”"Hearts in Atlantis” and “Black Hawk Down.”

Since Denali’s breakup, Maura has begun singing with Bella Lea, currently on tour.

I just have to say that I really like your taste in music Justin. Denali is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, and is certainly my “flavor of the week.” I do hope you keep finding new/old/obscure artists to feature on CN!
